CNC Glass Processing Services
We run CNC precision machining on glass and specialty substrates — surface grinding, profile milling, drilling, and multi-feature shaping — on controlled-axis centres with diamond tooling throughout.
Why CNC Matters on Special Glass
Borosilicate (COE 3.3 and 4.0), glass-ceramic, and quartz / fused silica are harder, more thermally sensitive, and less tolerant of vibration or tool deflection than soda-lime float. When the part is a boiler sight glass, a cooktop panel, a laser window, or an optical substrate, there is no margin for rework — the material cost alone demands that the first pass is the right pass. Rigid CNC setup, single-datum multi-feature referencing, and diamond abrasives are what make that possible.
Glass Materials We Machine
Soda-lime float and low-iron glass · Borosilicate (COE 3.3 / 4.0) · Glass-ceramic · Quartz / fused silica · Tempered-grade stock (machined before tempering)
