Transmittance and Haze — Tuned to Your Crop

Direct transmittance drives yield: every 1% gain in transmittance raises crop output by roughly 1%. Haze redistributes that light — diffusing it through the canopy so lower and interior leaves receive usable illumination. We deliver up to 97.5% transmittance (ISO 950:2023, 400–700 nm visible band) with haze fully selectable from 5% to 75%, matched to crop and greenhouse type:

  • Low haze (5–20%) — for seedling and propagation greenhouses; direct light drives strong, healthy starts.
  • Mid-to-high haze (40–75%) — for fruit and vegetable production; diffused light penetrates mid-canopy leaves and lifts lower-canopy yield by ~36%.
  • Custom 5–75% — configured to each crop's optimal light distribution.

Pattern, Coating & Grade Options

  • Surface patterns: single-frost, double-frost, pear-grain, cloth-grain — custom patterns available.
  • AR-coated grades: base, single-side AR, and double-side AR, progressively raising transmittance.
  • Iron content: ultra-low ≤150 ppm Fe₂O₃ for maximum clarity.
  • Hydrophilic surface across all grades — condensation sheets off rather than dripping, protecting the canopy and preserving light transmission.
