Coating to Your Optical Spec
We deposit multilayer AR films to a controlled thickness of 90–120 nm, tuned to a peak-transmittance band of 510–580 nm across the full visible spectrum (380–780 nm). Grades are specified by average transmittance, single-side film reflectance, peak transmittance, and coating hardness up to 6H — coated, strengthened, and finished to the numbers your application demands.
Three Coating Lines to Match Your Application
We match the grade to the mechanical and optical requirement:
- AR Series — standard high-transmittance coating. Coated float glass for non-strengthened applications. Average transmittance ≥94.5% to ≥98%, single-side reflectance down to ≤1%, hardness to 6H. Thickness 1.0–3.0 mm (0.039–0.118″).
- T-AR Series — temperable coating. Coated first, then physically tempered; rated data reflects post-tempering performance. For applications requiring impact and thermal safety. Average transmittance ≥94% to ≥98%, hardness to 6H. Thickness 3.0–6.0 mm (0.118–0.236″).
- C-AR Series — chemically-strengthened ultra-thin coating. Chemically strengthened first, then coated; rated data reflects post-strengthening performance. Built for thin, high-strength cover glass. Average transmittance ≥94.5% to ≥98%, hardness to 6H. Thickness 0.7–2.0 mm (0.028–0.079″).

- Size range: up to 1200 × 2400 mm (47.2″ × 94.5″), down to 300 × 300 mm (11.8″ × 11.8″)
- Thickness: 0.7–6.0 mm (0.028–0.236″), grade-dependent — sizes and thickness custom-configurable
- Processing: cutting, edging, drilling, physical tempering (T-AR), chemical strengthening (C-AR), and lamination
